‘Atomic’ Cabinet

Gorgeous solid Teak cabinet made up of a drawer at the top with space for your magazines or books, and a larger bottom storage section with sliding doors.

This came to us as a separate drawer and cabinet that we have sanded, lacquered and joined together with metal spacers and added 1950’s style ‘atomic’ legs and is completely unique.

It carries a maker’s stamp that is English Furniture maker Herbert E Gibbs, so we can date it around the early 1960’s.

The atomic design on the doors is a Scout & Boo original inspired by the ‘Atomic’ pattern designs of the 1950’s. It is digitally printed onto vinyl, laminated, and then applied to the doors. The edges are then sealed to give a hardwearing, long lasting surface with a design that is sure to be a talking point in any space that you choose to put it.

A distinctive piece that would make a perfect bedside table or drinks cabinet in a dining room or lounge.
